Hirosaki Park 弘前公園
Hirosaki Park 弘前公園 is a large park in the city containing the Hirosaki Castle 弘前城.
The main castle Tenshu 天守 is being relocated 223 meters back in summer of 2015 for repairing the castle stone wall underneath the castle. It will be relocated back in the coming years once the repair works completed.
Hirosaki Park 弘前公園 is also famous for its Sakura blossom and red leaves, especially when the Sakura petals are falling, the moat is fully filled with pink petals to become a "Sakura River".
The nearest train stations are Hirosaki Station 弘前駅 of JR Ouu Main Line 奥羽本線 / Gonou Line 五能線, Kounan Tetsudou 弘南鉄道 Kounan Line 弘南線; and Chuuou Hirosaki Station 中央弘前駅 of Kounan Tetsudou 弘南鉄道 Oowani Line 大鰐線.
