Kyoto Railway Museum 京都鉄道博物館 is located at the west of JR Kyoto station 京都駅. The museum is opened on 29 April 2016. The previous Umekoji Steam Locomotive Museum 梅小路蒸気機関車館, now renamed as Umekoji Steam Locomotive Depot 梅小路蒸気機関車庫, is now part of the Kyoto Railway Museum 京都鉄道博物館. The nearest train station is Kyoto station 京都駅 of JR various lines / Kintetsu Kyoto Line 近鉄京都線 / Kyoto Municipal Management Subway Karasuma Line 京都市営地下鉄烏丸線. | ||
