Ashikaga Flower Park あしかがフラワーパーク (足利 Flower Park) is located at the eastern outskirt of Ashikaga-shi 足利市 and is famous for its various species of flowers. The most famous is the Wisteria flower 藤の花.
Unfortunately this year, the flowers were blooming 2 weeks earlier than normal year, so what I saw was not as spectacular as it would be.
The park is chosen by CNN as 1 of the 10 Dream Destinations for 2014 (ref : http://edition.cnn.com/2013/12/25/travel/cnn-travel-2014-wish-list/).
However, in my opinion, Kawachi Fujien 河内藤園 in Fukuoka-ken Kita-Kyuushuu-shi 福岡県北九州市 is much much more spectacular.
The nearest train station is Tomita station 富田駅 of JR Ryoumou Line 両毛線.
