Oudai-Sazaedou 鴨台観音堂 is one of the seven Sazaedou 栄螺堂 still exists in Japan. Sazaedou 栄螺堂 is a special kind of structure, usually a tower, with double helix (spiral) slopes/stairs. In fact, Oudai-Sazaedou 鴨台観音堂 is the most modern one, built in 2013. The other six are quite ancient.
Oudai-Jikidou 鴨台食堂 is one of the canteens of the Taisho University 大正大学, but it is not a normal canteen. It is managed by the famous Prince Hotel. It offers better food but with comparatively low price.
The nearest train station is Nishi-Sugamo station 西巣鴨駅 of Toei Subway Mita Line 都営地下鉄三田線.
