Akashi Kaikyou Oohashi 明石海峡大橋
Akashi Kaikyou Oohashi 明石海峡大橋, opened in 1998, is the bridge connecting Koube-shi 神戸市 and Awaji-shima 淡路島. It is also the longest suspension bridge in the world, with its main span of 1991 meters. (Hong Kong's Tsing Ma Bridge 青馬大橋 ranked 9th at 1377m and US's Golden Gate Bridge ranked 12th at 1280m). It is also the third tallest structures (excluding buildings) in Japan with its bridge tower rated at 298.3m.
Note : My camera lens was malfunction the previous day and I could only shoot photos at 24mm.

The nearest train stations are Maiko station 舞子駅 of JR Sanyou Honsen 山陽本線 and Maiko Kouen station 舞子公園駅 of Sanyou Electric Railway Main Line 山陽電気鉄道本線.
