Expo Commemoration Park 万博記念公園
Expo Commemoration Park 万博記念公園, opened in 1972 at the site of 1970 Japan World Exposition (as known as EXPO'70) in the northern part of Osaka-fu 大阪府.
In terms of area, the park is 264 hectare in size, which is 56 times that of Tokyo Dome.
The symbol of the park, which is also the symbol of EXPO'70, is the Tower of the Sun 太陽の塔, 70m in height.
The nearest train station is Banpaku Kinen Kouen Station 万博記念公園駅 of Osaka Monorail 大阪モノレール Main Line / Saito Line 本線 / 彩都線.
