Katsuouji 勝尾寺 Katsuouji 勝尾寺 is located at the northern part of Osaka-fu 大阪府. The temple is famous for its tiny Daruma 達磨 Omikuji 神籤・御籤. After you take out the Mikuji 籤 paper from the bottom of the tiny Daruma 達磨, you can place the tiny Daruma 達磨 anywhere you like inside the temple area. As per the name of the temple, it is famous for the mentality of "win" 勝. For example, the local J-League professional football team, Ganba Osaka, visit the temple annually to pray for winning. The nearest train station is Senri Chuuou station 千里中央駅 of Kita Osaka Kyuko Railway Nanbaku Line 北大阪急行電鉄 南北線. From the station, you need to take an infrequent (5 returns per day only) bus to Katsuouji 勝尾寺.
