Shiga-ken Ootsu-shi - Biwako
Biwako (Lake of Biwa), named after the shape of an Asian musical stringed instrument Biwa, is the largest lake (670 square kilometer, which is roughly 60% the size of HK and 94% the size of Singapore) in Japan.
The ship Michigan, a paddle-wheel ship just under 940 ton, 59 meter long, is a tourist cruise ship running on the lake.
The nearest train station is Hamaootsu station of Keihan-Denki-Tetsudou Keishin Line / Ishiyama-Sakamoto Line.
