Aomori Nebuta Festival (青森ねぶた祭, official site)
Aomori Nebuta Festival is being held in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture, between 02-07 August each year.
The main attraction of the festival is the night parade of :
* Nebuta Dashi (Nebuta 山車, cart carrying the Nebuta)
* Hayashi (囃子, musicians), mainly consists of 3 types of instrument players : fue (笛, flute),
taiko (太鼓, Japanese drum), and teburigane (手振鉦, hand cymbals)
* Haneto (跳人, jumper/dancers, sometimes including Baketo (化人, Japanese style clown))
There are also a day time parade and night fireworks show in the last day of the festival.
