Hokkaido - Kushiro Tsurui-Itou Tanchou Sanctuary
Tsurui-Itou Tanchou Sanctuary is a winter sanctuary of wild Tanchou (Japanese Crane, as known as Red-Crowned Crane) found by Mr Itou Yoshitaka (1919-2000) and Wild Bird Society of Japan, in Tsurui Village, Kushiro.
The nearest train station is Kushiro station of JR Senmou Main Line.
